We revealed the official cast The Boys season 4. Thankfully most of your favorite characters from the first three seasons will return.

We still don’t know if Nathan Mitchell or Dominique McElligott will return in season 4. In the third season, each of their characters’ arcs were completed. We’re still hoping to see them in the fourth season.

Season 4 of The Boys has a slew of new cast members, including Susan Heyward and Valorie Curry, who play Sister Sage and Firecracker, respectively. New superheroes!

Season 4 cast members include Jeffrey Dean Morgan of Supernatural and The Walking Dead, as well as Rosemarie Dewitt, Rob Benedict, and Elliot Knight.

The Boys season 4 release date has been announced yet?

The Boys season 4 is reported to be coming shortly to Prime Video, although nothing has been verified. Any release dates you’ve seen online in fan posters, fan art, or tweets that aren’t from Amazon or cast members are false.

The good news is that we expect The Boys season 4 to launch this year, though that is very much in doubt now that we know when Gen V will be available on Prime Video. This projection is based on several factors, including the production timetable, number of episodes, and how long it takes for post-production on a show like The Boys.

For some of the actors and crew, production ended in April 2023. Some of the cast may have continued filming into May, but it is now officially over.

Eric Kripke also hinted that Gen V, The Boys spinoff, will arrive in the fall of 2023, which is a little later than we expected. We were expecting Gen V in the summer, which would set up The Boys season 4 for a late-fall release, possibly in September or October.

If Generation V arrives in the fall, The Boys season 4 will most likely be delayed until winter 2023, which isn’t always a negative thing. We’ve seen with Netflix that there’s a lot of demand for large episodes and movies on Netflix throughout the holidays. However, this means that The Boys season 4 may be delayed until early 2024.

We must also consider the implications if the writers’ strike persists and the AMPTP does not offer a better deal. Can Kripke and the rest of the creative team collaborate on post-production? All we can do is wait and see.

Amazon renewed The Boys for a fourth season just as season three began. Before the third season began in June 2022, I believe everyone knew this show would be renewed.

The Boys season 4 has finished filming

Season 4 filming began in August 2022 in Toronto and will continue into 2023. While we haven’t heard from the rest of the actors, Antony Starr, who plays Homelander in the show, announced that he wrapped filming in early April 2023. Several additional stars, including Simon Pegg, have confirmed that filming has concluded.

As previously stated, no additional series stars have announced that production has concluded. The majority of the cast is active on Instagram and other social media platforms, and they are transparent about what’s going on with The Boys. So, until we hear otherwise from Amazon or the cast, we may presume they’re still shooting in Toronto.

How many episodes are in The Boys season 4?

In three seasons, there have been 24 episodes of The Boys. Each season is made up of eight episodes. While we would love to see The Boys have a longer season in the future, we doubt that will happen.

We only know one of The Boys season 4 episode title for season 4. Showrunner Eric Kripke revealed the title for the season opener to indicate that production on the new season had begun. Is The Boys season 4 the final season?

Luckily, no! Season 4 of The Boys will not be the series’ last season. Kripke revealed that more seasons of The Boys are planned for early 2023.

It’s difficult to see The Boys ending anytime soon! I believe we may see some cast exits in the coming years, but this is a fantastic program. It’s a great success. There’s more to the story. That’s the recipe for a successful show.

Furthermore, Amazon has expressed interest in developing further shows set in this setting. To be honest, it doesn’t get much better for fans of The Boys.

How many The Boys spinoffs exist?

There have been two spinoffs of The Boys so far. The Boys: Diabolical, an animated spinoff released in 2022, has already been seen. We haven’t heard if it will return for season 2 yet.

Then there’s Gen V, The Boys’ live-action offshoot. It’s about a gang of supes at Godolkin University’s School of Crimefighting. It’s going to be enormous. Gen V will soon be available on Amazon Prime Video.
